About Beylie

Beylie Ivanhoe is a photographer and student based in North Salem, New York, and Sewanee, Tennessee. She studies Politics, Women’s and Gender Studies, and Art, but her passion is photography. With over seven years of darkroom and digital photography experience, Beylie has worked extensively, both professionally and recreationally, on many different projects.

Beylie’s career in art began at Millbrook School, where she took Darkroom, Alternative Processes, and Advanced Photography throughout high school. She continued her work over the summers, doing graduate photos for friends in the area and shooting for her portfolio. Beylie is continuing her academic career in photography at Sewanee: The University of the South with a minor in Art, where she has so far taken Darkroom, Intermediate Photography, and Advanced Photography. While at Sewanee, Beylie has worked as the Photography Editor for The Sewanee Purple and a Staff Photographer for the Babson Center for Global Commerce, taking headshots and group photos for both organizations.

In her free time, Beylie enjoys shooting photos, mainly 35mm film. She also enjoys thrifting, reading, sewing, and hiking. She hopes to one day work in Events or Media Relations for a political advocacy organization to use her creative mind to produce a change in the U.S. and worldwide.

Beylie is always open to inquiries about commissioned work and would love to produce headshots, grad photos, or any photographs you want! Please feel free to reach out with any questions or inquiries.
